Upper Deck has partnered with the World Surf League (WSL) to launch a new line of surfing trading cards, marking a expansion into the world of surf collectibles, a world we never knew existed until today!
This collaboration aims to bring the excitement of professional surfing to collectors and fans alike, offering a tangible connection to the sport’s top athletes and memorable moments.
The inaugural release features the “Game Dated Moments” series, highlighting key events from the 2025 WSL season, including the Lexus Pipe Pro, Surf Abu Dhabi Pro, and the MEO Rip Curl Pro. These cards capture pivotal moments from each competition, providing collectors with a chronological journey through the season.
In addition to physical cards, Upper Deck introduces the e-Pack platform, allowing fans to purchase digital versions of the trading cards. Collectors can later opt to receive physical copies, bridging the gap between digital convenience and traditional collecting.
This initiative not only celebrates the achievements of surfers but also offers enthusiasts a new avenue to engage with the sport. As the WSL season progresses, collectors can anticipate a growing series of cards commemorating the dynamic world of professional surfing.
