Topps has officially announced the release schedule for its Premier League 2025/26 Trading Cards, marking the brand’s return as an official Premier League licensee with a standalone collection outside its flagship Match Attax range.

Designed to offer a premium collecting experience, the set is packed with autographs, parallels, rookies, and ultra-rare inserts — promising excitement in every pack for both casual fans and seasoned collectors.

Premier League 2025/26 Trading Cards – Release timeline and distribution

The collection will roll out in three main phases:

  • 7 August – UK retail launch
  • 21 August – International and EU retail release
  • 17 September – Hobby box launch

In addition to the core waves, two exclusive drops will follow:

  • 25 September – Countdown Calendar Exclusive
  • 2 October – First-Ever Golden Boot Tin

The set will showcase players from all 20 Premier League clubs, each pictured in their new 2025/26 season kits.

Premier League 2025/26 Trading Cards – What’s inside?

This new Topps Premier League product features a robust checklist covering base cards, inserts, parallels, autographs, and special rookie designs, with every image and insert theme crafted to tell a story.

Key card types in the collection include:

Rookie Cards – The debut trading card for a player, designated by a distinct RC logo. These are highly sought after and often rise in value quickly.

Chrome King Legend Cards – Featuring iconic football legends printed on Topps’ premium Chrome technology. These come with sequential numbering, ultra-rare parallels, and signed versions.

Gold Lion (Semi-Rare) – Printed on metallic gold foil, this card includes the Premier League Lion logo with a sleek liquid-silver finish.

Premier Pull Cards (Mega Rare) – A chase set featuring current superstars and legendary Premier League icons.

Autograph Cards (Super Rare) – A high number of signed cards are available, including extremely rare parallel variants.

Diamond Rookie Cards (Ultra Rare) – Just 10 of the most exciting rookie talents from the 2025/26 season have been selected for this elite card tier.

Additional themed inserts will include Perfect Storm, Heat Vision, Home Advantage, Headliner, Pro Precision, and Beast Mode.

Topps is also upping the ante with a 15-colour parallel sets, ranging from unnumbered designs through to sequentially numbered cards from /499 all the way down to true 1/1s.
