PSA and Ultra PRO launch official grading submission kit in the US and Canada

by Collector ClubCollector Club

PSA has announced a new partnership with Ultra PRO to launch its first-ever official grading submission kit, an all-in-one product designed to make card submissions easier and more streamlined for collectors.

The Official PSA Grading Submission Kit is currently only available in the United States and Canada, exclusively through Best Buy. It includes everything you might need to prepare your cards for PSA grading, with the aim of simplifying a process that’s often seen as daunting or overly complex for newcomers.

Each PSA grading kit includes:

  • 4 x $25 PSA grading credits (one per submission only)
  • 4 x Ultra PRO PSA graded card stands
  • 20 x Ultra PRO Easy Grip card sleeves
  • 20 x Ultra PRO semi-rigid card holders
  • 4 x Ultra PRO x PSA card protectors
  • 1 x Microfibre cloth
  • Shipping materials, a submission box, and full submission instructions

The credits included must be used on separate submissions, meaning they cannot be stacked to discount a single order.

A smoother grading experience – or a slick cash grab?

While the concept is certainly appealing, especially for those who have never submitted to PSA before, some hobbyists are questioning the value on offer.

PSA grading remains one of the most expensive options on the market, particularly for UK-based collectors. Through UK PSA partner Black Label Grading, the regular grading tier with 10 day turnaround costing £62 per card.

With that in mind, the kit could be seen as another premium-priced product in a landscape where grading costs are already high. However, it may also represent a helpful entry point for less experienced collectors looking for peace of mind, with clear instructions and pre-approved packaging designed to avoid common mistakes.

There’s currently no official word on whether the kit will be released internationally, but with growing interest in graded cards across the UK and Europe, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see this roll out more widely in the near future.
