by Collector ClubCollector Club

Exciting news for fans of Lorcana trading cards, we’re set to see even more of our favourite Disney characters appear in a brand-new set of trading cards in the coming months, this time celebrating the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

Titled Kingdom Hearts Art Museum Trading Cards, the collection is scheduled to release in August 2025 and will feature a blend of original game art, character illustrations, and rare inserts that celebrate the series’ artistic legacy.

A collector’s dream for Kingdom Hearts fans

Each Art Museum Trading Card pack will contain six cards, showcasing artwork from across the Kingdom Hearts series. The cards will include memorable illustrations of fan-favourite characters like Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy, along with visually striking imagery from the wider universe including Organisation XIII and game logos.

A total of 120 standard cards will be available to collect in the initial wave. These are split across four categories:

  • 80 Normal Cards
  • 20 Rare Cards
  • 20 Premium Rare Foil Cards
  • Secret Cards (unconfirmed quantity)

There will also be a range of limited-edition cards to chase, with premium foil finishes and “Secret” variations offering serious appeal for long-term collectors.

Starter box sets and international availability

A starter box will include 10 packs (60 cards total), offering collectors a solid head start. Pre-orders are already live in the United States, where the box is priced at $40, though UK and European pricing is yet to be confirmed. It’s expected that Square Enix will make these available through its official regional storefronts in due course.

Early glimpses of the packaging and card layouts show a clean, museum-inspired aesthetic that lives up to the collection’s name, with each card designed to highlight the artistry of the Kingdom Hearts series over the last two decades.

What about Kingdom Hearts 4?

Fans will be especially interested to know that some of the cards may include early visuals from the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 4. While this hasn’t been confirmed outright, promotional materials have hinted at “never-before-seen” images, adding further intrigue to an already exciting release.

With the Kingdom Hearts Art Museum Trading Cards marking the series’ first full-scale foray into collectables, this is set to be a must-have product for gamers and card collectors alike.
