eBay has officially launched its interactive livestream shopping platform, eBay Live, in the UK, debuting at MCM Comic Con London with a number of special streams from today, Friday 23rd May until Sunday 25th May at the ExCeL London. This marks eBay Live’s first major UK activation in the collectibles scenes, following its success with other products and in other countries.
What is eBay Live and is it going to be
eBay Live is a real-time, interactive shopping experience that allows users to participate in live auctions and “Buy It Now” listings hosted by influencers, brands, and sellers. This platform brings the excitement of live events directly to users’ devices, offering a dynamic and engaging shopping experience.
One of the standout features of eBay Live is its interactive livestream shopping capability. Users can engage with hosts and other viewers during live events, creating a communal shopping atmosphere. These events are curated, allowing shoppers to explore selections from various sellers, ensuring a diverse range of products and experiences.
Naturally, live auctions are a central component of eBay Live, enabling users to bid on items in real-time whilst the stream is live in the same way the can buy products being showcased on screen.
The eBay Live platform is available through the eBay app and on the eBay website, ensuring that users can participate from various devices and locations.

Notably, on Saturday 24 May at 12:30 PM, Fandom will host a special charity auction featuring items like a LEGO Millennium Falcon and a sealed Pokémon TCG: Unified Minds Booster Box, with proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
